Learn Veda's Technique and Begin to Learn the Language of Water

Beginning in January of 2026 I will be offering Collective Molecular Photography workshops teaching Veda Austin’s technique for photographing water in its, as she calls it’s, “state of creation”.  Join this informative and interactive zoom workshop for beginners wanting to learn the technique. You’ll get Veda’s CMP step by step guide and receive a zoom link a few days prior to the class. I will walk you through the process, which can be so helpful if you are new to Veda’s work.

One of the most difficult parts of the technique is knowing exactly when the water has divided into two parts. Everyone in the group can ask questions and try the technique during the workshop. This class will be recorded and everyone who signs up gets sent the recording, even if you can’t make it on the day of.

I recommend you order a glass petri dish in advance, between 70mm – 120mm in diameter. I prefer 100mm dishes for their ease of working with,  although larger of smaller dishes are fine as well. They come with a glass lid which can be used as a second dish. You’ll need a working freezer and a camera (Veda and I both use our cell phones). The workshops generally run for about two hours. The first half of the workshop will cover the How-To’s, we’ll have a short break and then during the second half everyone on the call will get a chance to freeze a dish or two, we’ll look at them as a group and I can give advice on dialing in the technique.
